The official launch of the BSCB was held on Monday, 15 May, 2006, at Beckfoot Grammar School in Bingley attended by an invited audience of over 70 people representing Bradford's partner agencies who work together to ensure the safety of children and young people.

A symbolic 'Statement of Intent' was signed by a cross-section of agencies and witnessed by a young person representing the children and young people of Bradford.  See A4 PDF of document here (revised copy - updated in May 2007).

The event also featured a drama performance (below) and musical recital by students from Beckfoot.
