June 23, 2008 > Safeguarding Academy honours child protection heroine

Lynne White who dedicated her life to supporting and protecting children and young people across the UK has been honoured by a national Safeguarding Children organisation she helped in its formative years.

A cheque for Ł5,000 in memory of Lynne White, who died in March, has been presented by the Safeguarding Children e-Academy in Ilkley to Martin House Hospice for Children and Young People, based near Boston Spa, Wetherby.
